This week I worked on layering and pairing pictures. Three of these images are the same but with different saturations and distortions. I also tried layering man and nature together then creating a diptych of the same picture with different levels of contrast.
I'm glad to see you experimenting with editing. I think your most successful layering is the bottom half of the diptych of the branches. The colors all work well together. The two dog images are a bit awkward and hard to read when merged. Remember that merging is more successful when you have strong contrast and lighting in at least one of your images. I encourage you to take stronger initial pictures with interesting eye levels and lighting for your next group.
